Welcome to Kary Dental

Your first visit is your opportunity to get to know our practice, see our facility, and meet our team. We set aside a full 60 to 90 minutes so there is time to understand your concerns, review your health history, and build a clear picture of your dental health, without feeling rushed.

What to expect at your first visit

Dr. Andrew L. Kary, DDS performs a comprehensive evaluation, then reviews everything with you and discusses your options. If your gums are healthy, a routine cleaning may be completed the same day.

Imaging

Digital X-rays, photos, and a cone-beam CT scan.

Examination

Teeth, gums, bite, and TMJ, plus an oral cancer screening and airway assessment.

Discussion

Dr. Kary reviews the findings with you and explains the options.

Planning

Our Patient Care Coordinator walks you through costs and scheduling.

Before you arrive

Save time by completing your new patient forms in advance through our secure online patient portal. Filling them out ahead of time lets our team review your medical and dental history before you arrive. Prefer paper? Arrive about 15 minutes early to complete your forms in the office.

What to bring

Comfort and amenities

Our dental chairs feature built-in heat and massage to help you relax during longer appointments, even without sedation. While you are here, help yourself to complimentary espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, sparkling water, and tea.

Insurance and payment

Kary Dental participates with select PPO plans and works with most dental insurance that includes out-of-network benefits. We verify your benefits before your first appointment so there are no surprises.
